Many of you asked us how halal meat is produced. The most important thing is the slaughtering process of the animal. A very basic procedure is performed, whereby they precisely make a cut under the neck to make sure that the animal will not suffer. All this is done by a Muslim butcher, who positions the animal in a specific orientation (towards Mecca) and follows a specific prayer. After slaughter, the meat follows a pre-established halal certification procedure, which Talita follows until it is packaged.
