Halal meat differs from other types of meat because of the slaughtering process. But what is halal meat? These are all meats that are not haram, i.e., forbidden to be eaten. Therefore, any meat that is slaughtered by beating, strangulation or stunning is not considered Halal, even if the animal died in a natural way. Many of you asked us how halal meat is produced. The most important thing is the slaughtering process of the animal. A very basic procedure is performed, whereby they precisely make a cut under the neck to make sure that the animal will not suffer. All this is done by a Muslim butcher, who positions the animal in a specific orientation (towards Mecca) and follows a specific prayer.
